Introduction of Echizen-Ono

"Echizen-Ono" is Ono City`s original name, which comes from the old name  of the region.

Ono City is located in the eastern part of Fukui prefecture. Fukui is in the center of the Japanese island of Honshu and borders the Sea of Japan. Ono City is an idyllic rural town with a population of about 35,000 people.

Ono City has a unique landscape in that it is surrounded on all sides by mountains. It is a calm and tranquil place with an abundance of natural beauty.
